Yeah my Christmas was pretty much the same. I think it's safe to say I'm over the whole excitement of Christmas. But New Years definitely made up for any of that. Luckily mine didn't involve any vomitting either. I was in Bondi over New Years. We all stayed at a hostel just on the beach. I think I mentioned to you how 36 of us were all going? So yeah, all of us staying there, it got pretty crazy. We got asked to leave by the hostel owners at least once a day haha but we managed to stay for the whole 10 days. I caught up with some friends from England and some other friends from NZ who have moved to Sydney as well so it was definitely awesome. On NYE we went to Shore Thing on Bondi Beach which rocked. Then on New Years Day we went to Field Day which was at Sydney Domain and makes me depressed even talking about. I got so drunk that I missed my favourite band who I'd been looking forward to seeing for like 6 months. I cried, like literal tears came out of my eyes when I realised. So devastating. As for BDO, I'm not that amped on anyone to be honest. I'm just going cause I've been every year since 2001 - it's what I do. It's fucking awesome even if there's no one in particular you care about anyway. And there are a few people I wanna see.. Muse, Lily Allen, Dizzee Rascal, Peaches, all those people who've come like in the past 2 years already. But I also wanna see Jet, The Mars Volta, Passion Pit, The Horrors, Calvin Harris, Rise Against, Dead Prez. There are also loads of good New Zealand acts playing at our one, Kora, The Checks, The Veils, Concord Dawn, Gin Wigmore. Haha okay so apparently there are heaps of things I'm amped on. Yay!

Yeah I'm definitely more excited about Lost coming back. I haven't read too many HvV spoilers and the ones I have read I just tell myself everyday that they're not true because otherwise I would slip into a fully fledged depression. But the whole Coach thing takes away from the excitement plus it's only been like a few weeks since the first Samoa even finished so it's hard to get like whoa excited. I cannot fucking wait for Tyson and Courtney though. I know you know the boot list so shh but I've been doing a lot of voodoo shit to get those two to F2. Not to mention Rob and Cirie. The sad thing about having so many all time faves on one series is that I have to split the love. I can't even afford to love Tom or Randy because splitting between 6 people is just crazy talk. But I will definitely be doing a lot of hating too. Ugh Coach obviously but also ugh @ Sugar, Rupert, Danielle, Russell (kinda) and, like you said, the whole Amanda-Parvati-James tromance will be so lame as well. I'm worried for Cirie though cause like EVERYONE wants her gone first. But yeah, Lost will be like major epic. I heard this season is supposed to be like insanely off the charts fantastic and like EVERYTHING gets answered. I'm nearly hyperventilating just writing this. I also read somewhere about how there was a toss up between postponing the start of Lost or American Idol for a week for Obama's Presidents Address. I don't know which one ended up getting effected but if it's Lost I'm going to be beyond pissed.

Yeah, the BDO is always a good day. I guess I just feel that each year it gets more expensive and each year the line up gets worse. Though that being said, I am kind of regretting not going last year to see TV on the Radio. I went a few years ago when Tool and Muse were headlining and Muse were freaking awesome. Though Jet also played that year and they were terrible - I say avoid seeing them. I reckon Passion Pit and Mars Volta would be good live. Never heard of any of those NZ bands, sorry. I may have to check them out - I love discovering new bands...

Courtney and Tyson are awesome, but I am most excited to see Sandra and Tom back.
I am also very excited to see the older players, Jerri, Colby, Rupert and Boston Rob, back. Just to see if their game has changed. I hated Rob in All Stars but am now really looking forward to seeing him play again. Weird. And I am wondering whether Rupert actually found himself some form of strategic game. I am not a Rupert fan at all but if he actually started playing the game it may make me hate him less slash even possibly like him. Am I crazy? Probably...

P.S. Argh, I just wrote this massive reply to your email and then my computer decided to crash and delete it. This is all I could remember. So just think, this email could have been longer!
P.P.S I promise not to spoil anything this season! I will have to be careful what I say, if I just stick to Coach hate then I should be safe ha ha!

How was your Christmas and New Years and all that fun stuff? I hope the cruise was fun and turned out to be a success? Sydney was pretty fucking epic but now I'm like wretchedly sick which sucks big time. Hopefully I'll get better in time for Big Day Out on Friday. Are you going?

No, not going to the Big Day Out. There is not really any acts that I want to see this year - I am over Muse and Lily Allen does nothing for me... I am, however, going to Laneway Festival, cannot wait to see Florence and the Machine! I am more into the indie scene. I saw Grizzly Bear last Friday and they were amazing, they are pretty much my favourite band at the moment. How are you hankering to see at Big Day Out?

To be honest I think I am more excited about Lost than Survivor. I am just dying to see how they are going to explain all the mysteries they introduced! Plus I kind of had the entire bootlist for Survivor S20 spoiled several times. I got spoiled a little bit once when I was looking for the cast a month or so back, so thats my bad. But then some fucker posted an entire bootlist in the title of several threads in Sucks proper. So now I pretty much know every boot which kind of ruins the suspense. Though I am still interested to see how it plays out. It is a really good cast (Ive even gotten over the inclusion of Danielle), my major complaint with it is that there are too many Micronesians. I dont see why I have to be exposed to fucking Amanda and James again, and I dont really know what Cirie or Parvati has to offer on their third shot (though I can understand them coming back over the other 2). Wait, what am I saying? My major complaint is fucking Coach coming back! And whiny lil Russhole! Damn, guess I do have quite a few complaints about the cast!
